F A Q
What software versions do I need to run this?
Redshift 2026.2.0 or higher is needed. Any modern version of Cinema 4D that can run this version of Redshift should work. We tested back to Cinema 4d R25 with no issues.
How do I install the Pack?
The ML Band is not a plugin - these are native Cinema 4D files that contain the objects and textures. You just copy and paste what you need into your working scene files.
Are these Human Scans?
No. The Band members are AI generated as well as the performers so they are original and there is no copyright conflict or issue for using on Commercial projects.
Can I use other render engines?
The kit is currently only built for Redshift as is. All models and material textures are included, so you could retexture in the render engine of your choice.
Can I use these for Closeups:
Because the performers are AI generated, the face details are lacking and these are best used in mid to wide camera shots. The equipment is all modeled from scratch and can be used at any range, including close ups. As the technology improves, I hope we can overcome this hurdle in the future.
Can you make me a specific person?
The pack is specifically designed to be non specific, but there are plans to expand the pack with more options and figures.
How powerful a computer do I need to use the models?
This is very subjective based on the complexity of your scene and the amount of lights and equipment you put in. The full performers are 500,000 triangles each. The equipment has been modeled as efficient as possible with just enough detail and the dancers and image props are just Planes that are Texture and Opacity driven.
